It’s been almost four months since the new windows were put in. Each remains bare.

The doors are now glass.

Since windows cover the house, the end result…

I feel like I’m standing around naked in front of a crowd.

The entrances to my front & back door are closed & gated. So, I’m not at the point of freely welcoming people in.

I am, however, at a point I’d never expected (or hoped) to be.

Exposing myself (even if only to a family of squirrels & other miscellaneous wildlife) has inexplicably changed me.

Even though it took me 20 (or so) years to get to this point, I am starting to feel lighter, more free.

As a byproduct, I’m also becoming more aware of all the things (physical & non-physical) still burdening & restricting me.
